    How map NAS...?

    You mean even secured NAS and created admin account

    I am able to create file copy etc from Windows Explorer? like a USB drive???


    Shares created in NAS... where will seen in Windows Explorer ?

    If the shares were created and access granted then yes mapping a drive will work.

    It would appear that your ix4 200d may not support SMB 2.0 or above, only SMB 1.0. If so, the only way to map to it from Windows 10 is to enable 'SMB 1.0/CIFS Client' in Windows Features (disabled by default).

    ...I've re-enabled the SMB1 client (SMB1 server is not necessary) manually on the other one, and I can access the IX2-200 again.

    The screenshot shows that the automatic removal of smb1 is checked. That should be unchecked, so should the smb1 server. Only the smb1 client needs to be checked. If a restart is required after making changes it will tell you and ask you to restart.

    Either will be OK. SMB Direct can improve speed if you have a RDMA-capable network adapter. It has no effect on the ability to connect using SMB.

    What is "SMB Direct" in Windows Features ?
