    Dropping Internet Connection

Hi Everyone, hope everyone is well, I wonder if anyone could give me some help, I am asking for my sister as I will be doing the task. She has been having problems with her internet connection, as the laptop keeps dropping her internet connection, I have taken a look at the device manager, it says everything is okay, I have updated her drivers, without success, I have looked on the manufacturers website for any updates and these also haven't solved the problem. I would be extremely grateful of any help if there are things I haven't tried.

    Thank You In Advance

Unfortunately I am not certain of her Windows Version Number, but I think it is 1803

I had this for seemingly forever - then got new WiFi 6 hardware and now even got 5G (and I'm about 25m and thick walls away from the router)

for reference: Randomly losing internet connection on a wifi network

    Hi There,
Her laptop is an Acer, not sure about the model yet, although I can find out for tomorrow evening

Also when you say Router on the same Channel, do you mean on the ISP router settings, pardon me, but I can only find this out, when she brings me her laptop tomorrow.

I really do appreciate all help given so far, please bear with me and I will post more answers on here tomorrow

and you have to do this at her place of residence. Only way to see what channel her router is using and what neighbours routers are using.
