    Share HDDs on home network

hi all for no good reason I have 4 external hard drives , 3 are USB powered and 1 mains powered.

I would like to be able to share 1 of them on my home network with the option of being able to access them via

    android phones
    windows laptops
    android/amazon fire tablets
    amazon fire sticks
    android tv box

is this possible and if so whats the most cost effective solution?

I dont need/want to leave the drive on all the time, just access it as and when i need it?

    Thanks in advance

If your router or wifi access point has a USB port, you can usually share one device by plugging it into that port. My ASUS RT-AX88U, for example, has one on the back:

YMMV, because this kind of equipment is all over the place. But it's worth checking out.
