Just Got My Fiber Optic Installed! WOW!!

I have always had mediocre net access. Download speeds of maybe 70 mbps and uploads of.. Pathetic... 25 mbps. So I forked out the bucks for Fiber Optic. The package I chose was the 300 X 300. O! And just for signing up thy gave me a "Samsung 55 Inch 4K TV." My main system is wired. Cat5e. My laptops, DELL Inspiron N17 series (Cerca 2011) To get them up to speed I'm getting a couple of WIFI Dongles that support 802.11ac. So for the WOW factor... Check out my little video. I have the biggest smile on my face right now...

Nice! I've got 300 Mbps down but upload is way slower. Something like 20Mbps I think.

Wait until you download a large file, like a Windows ISO image from someplace that has quick upload speeds and the download finishes in like a minute. It will take you a while before you actually trust that the download finished without errors.

    First world problems .

I downloaded Kubuntu a 2.1GB download... 2.5 minutes. Actually 2 minutes 24 seconds. I also did an upload of a file at 1.35GB 1 minutes 46 seconds. OMG! I'm Lovin Fiber....
