    Where can i turn off DLNA on router?


    Hi
    Everything connected to the network is showing as a media devices, i read that i need to disable DLNA. I have turned it off through my control panel on the computer but i can't find where to turn it off on the router. I have a TPlink archer vr600.

    Thank you for your response.

    Unfortunately this didnt work for me and the manual didn't say more than what I have already done.

    I have a USB drive, 64Gb and I want to use it for file sharing. I dont want to stream or share any pics, videos and music, just documents. The media streaming options on the control pannel are turned off. This is what I do: when I plug the USB in the router, I go to the router interface and click on scan, it recognises the USB and I go to network on the pc, and it is shown as a media drive. When i right click on it, it will only open with media player.

    The router driver is up to date and I don't know what i'm doing wrong.

    Just ignore. You can block dlna/multicast in the firewall but can end up breaking stuff.
