As far as I know there is a way to connect from Win10 system directly to an Android SmartPhone through Wifi.

The Android system should be mounted (=visible) afterwards as drive in Win10 File Explorer.

    How can I achieve this?

Hi Peter, were you able to find anything useful in this thread or elsewhere to connect your Android phone to Windows 10?

W10 Tweaker - I appreciate your efforts. What I wasn't clear on is on Monday of this week, I was able to goto the SAMSUNG CORP home page and search for "Samsung SideSync" and it took me to me to the download page for W10 + Android/Mac playstores. On Tuesday I could no longer perform that search ? I thought that was strange. But, since I get a system hangs when trying to install the SideSync software its got to be a difference between 1809 vs 1903 since your system works.

Again thank you for all of your help, but I've run out of patience with this software because there is no recourse for me. Its not supported any more and will not be fixed. Hopefully Samsung can fix all the problems with sidesync replacement.
I'm sorry to hear that, however; I understand there's only so much time in a day to apply towards apps that might be cool to have.

Too bad, I was going to suggest one more attempt at loading Sidesync by running the installation in compatibility mode. I've been using it for years on a Windows 7 machine and also had great success installing a few older apps on Windows 10 using compatibility mode.

I have installed Samsung Flow. It works pretty good. Sharing of files via wifi, works in both directions. I'm able to receive all notifications in W10. Looks like W10 can receive/send mags (currently testing) an I have received a incoming phone call on my desktop, but couldn't respond (no microphone). Still testing that. Right now I'm pretty happy with Flow. Will post further later. Only downside is only 1 system at a time ?

Made some more headway. I can receive and reply to a text, but have not figured out how to create a text ? So far, I'm notified of a incoming call, but can't answer it ? More later.

The OP is trying to get the phone to appear as a drive in File explorer [as it does if connected by USB cable instead]. I imagine many of us would also appreciate that. Have you made any headway on that?

Yes you can. FLow has a feature called Smart View which is executing what is on your phones screen. Its like working your phone remotely. The following example, I used this feature to the second Android page, ran the "My files app" and went to the subdirectory on the phone for "F150", then returned to file explorer, I highlighted and dragged the "Sync_Ver" JPG file from explorer to the "F150" subdirectory on the phone. You can also drag & drop in the opposite direction.

I don't get it. Where, in that File explorer screenshot, is the phone?

Where the arrow is pointing on the left side. That is how the "My Files app" displays a file list on Android 9.

So the phone does not appear as a drive in File explorer. It appears in a separate application. If that's the best that can be done when connected by WiFi then so be it but it is not what the OP asked for & not what you claimed only a few posts ago.

I'll stick with FJSoft's MyPhoneExplorer. Whether the devices are linked by USB, WiFi network or the phone's WiFi hotspot, MPE links them reliably and it contains highly customisable synchronisation tools.

I have been using it for eight years now and I think it is excellent.

As with the other applications mentioned in this thread, the phone does not appear in File explorer but in a separate application which allows dragging & dropping both ways.
So, as with the other applications mentioned in this thread, MyPhoneExplorer does not fulfil the OP's requirements.
