    Data Usage - How to Reset ?


    ....... does anybody got an idea how to reset the Data Usage back to 0 ?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated .......

    Go to Wi-Fi settings and click Advanced options. Set the metered connection to Off. Reboot the pc. You can't view the metered connection setting unless you have a Wi-Fi connection in use.

    The instructions I gave are exactly what the tutorial explains, but only in much fewer directions. When you turn the meter off and reboot the pc, it does in fact reset back to zero when you elect to turn it back on for that adapter connection.

    The tutorial only explains how to "turn on" the metered connection. It doesn't mention anything about resetting the usage back to zero.

    ....... how would this work for a cellular broadband connection ?

    What I mean is in fact how to reset all Data Usage back to 0 including Cellular, Wi-Fi and Ethernet ...?...

    It doesn't allow metering an ethernet connection. Only WiFi. If you use your phone as a hotspot then you can that connection.
