Windows 10 home limiting my download speed while uploads are normal

I have 30mbps down/ 10mbps up network at my home. All other devices except my laptop is getting full down and upload speeds.

With my pc I only get 10 mbps downloads and getting full 15 mbps upload. I dont know why my laptop is limiting my network downloads. I have tried with both wifi and ethernet but same problem persists. I have done many changes but nothing works like (driver rollback, connection reset, even resetting the router to see if problem from the router, etc etc.)

Please help me out. I am stuck with slow downloads.

    Scan for virus infection.

If all of this fails it’s time to contact your Internet Service Provider and modem company and ask them for a line test and investigation.

I have contacted ISP also and they did all they can. I have many devices at my network all are getting full 30 mbps download and 15 mbps upload. But only this device is throttling only download speeds. I have changed the router also but the same problem persists.

Two things can do it. If your network is set to full duplex it and router may not cope with it. Check other PC's settings what there set to. The other is MTU that can effect it. We assume it's not an old laptop with a slow g type wifi

I have checked all... It is set to full duplex and my wifi adaptor is wireless AC adaptor so I think no issue with the adaptor.

Full duplex can cause the problems try another mode check your mtu does your isp have a specfic MTU Changing the MTU size in Windows Vista, 7 or 8 (mtu, speed, windows, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Vista)

Tried it but it doesnt work. Previously it was 1500 then I changed and made it similiar to router MTU (1492) but same 10mbps download and 15 mbps upload on a 30mbps download and 15 mbps upload connection.

What exactly is your scenario with "other devices" and users.
The reason for asking is that whilst using your Laptop one of the other devices maybe doing downloads at the same time thus limiting the download speed of your Laptop.
This is common in households with several users using the same service and Router. One of them maybe doing downloads all the time.

"I have many devices at my network all are getting full 30 mbps download and 15 mbps upload. "
They won't get that simultaneously, only one at a time. That 30 Mbps is the total for all of them.

Some Modem/Routers have a log of users that may contain useful information.

Some of the other devices may have Viruses and Malware.

Has this laptop ever had the same download speeds as the other PC's in your house and this is new behaviour, or is this a new 'to you' device?

Please go here and run TCP/IP analyzer (2nd from the bottom on left-side menu) and post results in this thread. Also, run the same test on another PC (that works to your satisfaction) and post results clearly identifying the information as from a working PC.

Sometimes the MTU setting requires a slight tweak in order to function successfully with a particular router.
