    Only some shared files show in Win10 Share


    I have two computers, one win10 and one win7. On a win10 file share, I can only see some files from the win7 computer. If I alter/save a file on the win10 computer, I can then see the file from the win7 computer. never since win3.11 have I seen anything like this. Windows file sharing is effing ridiculous... this is after the homegroup removal from the Win10 perspective. The homegroup had been left on the win7 machine. I have to reboot, however I'm sure it won't help.

    Anyone ever run into this situation before and know a solution?

    Mine is a different situation. I have two HP's, both are Win10 home, and sharing is turned on. One is a desktop the other is a laptop. I had two different background pictures on each and only a logon picture on my desktop. This morning when I turned on my desktop....it had my laptop background 'wallpaper' on it. I figured that was strange because I didn't change it. I then turned my laptop on and low and behold, my desktop sign-in picture was now on it too. I think these two are becoming more friendly then they should while shut down for the night.
