Media Sharing with Xbox360

I have an XBox360 that want yo use as a media player but can't seem to get the connection with my WIN10 PC.
It seems to be a problem about setting the Xbox as an extender.
I just would like the simplest solution to use the Xbox as a media player of files in my network.
Please advice?

The device is already recognized as connected. So this is not the reason for my problem.

I just want to be able to use the Xbox 360 as a Media Player for my home theater streaming files from a Windows 10 PC that is on 24/7.
It is my understanding that Windows Media Center is necessary to make that possible, so I had to manually install WMC since Win10 does not include it. I did install WMC but I have not been able to make the Xbox work as an extender for WMC. I've tried to do what a few fixes found with google but none has worked.
All of them point me to make the Xbox a WMC extender. I just want to use the Xbox to play the video files in my tv so if there is any other way I would try it.

I've tried this too but the thing is that there is no Media Player Option in the Xbox 360. I also tried downloading the Kodi to the Xbox but there is no Kodi option in the Xbox Store for the Xbox360.
