How to launch a bat file the second internet disconects? WINDOWS 10

All I want is to have a bat file I made run the second my wireless internet spontaneously disconnects.

I have tried using task scheduler but I just found out Start only if the following network connection is available is broken after Windows 10 anniversary update. Checked or unchecked, it does not work at all!

any help would be greatly appreciated!

and please do not refer me to this Windows Task Scheduler: Trigger an Event When Internet Connects/Disconnects tutorial, it does not work on windows 10, only 8 and bellow!

Hi, I've tried that for you on 1903:
Windows Task Scheduler: Trigger an Event When Internet Connects/Disconnects

    - it works..for me.

What convinces you it doesn't - in general and for all people- doesn't work in Win 10? Or is it only your experience that it doesn't work?

(Tested by switching off router using button on router).

Have you looked at your Event log to see if event id 10001 is listed?

And kindly don't be angry just because I've referred to what you didn't want people to refer to. If you feel like that, simply ignore my post. Thanks.

OK after extensive research and a little luck I found out this tutorial
Windows Task Scheduler: Trigger an Event When Internet Connects/Disconnects

does work but ONLY IF YOU specify as "source" Microsoft-Windows-NetworkProfile

Hi, glad you found the discrepancy. That's exactly what that article states:

n the Begin the task menu, choose “On an event.” Then, choose:Log: Microsoft-Windows-NetworkProfile/Operational
    Source: NetworkProfile
    Event ID: 10000

The 10000 Event ID is logged when you connect to a network.

in conclusion the article is misleading and or incomplete for windows 10!

I can't question your experience on your particular machine.

I used this, and it works for me:
