Problems with DHCP and one specific network, only on my PC.

    Hi all,

I've got a really weird problem and I can't figure out what is causing it.
At my home I have powerline wi-fi hotspots made by TP-Link. They work fine except on my laptop. Whenever I connect it says "Connected, no Internet", even though my phone is able to access the internet.
A solution I found was disabling DHCP and entering a static IP. This does allow me to connect but the next time I connect to the same network I need a different IP for the connection to work again.
When connecting to these powerline boxes via Ethernet they work perfectly, but they're too far away so I need to connect via Wi-Fi.

Can anyone help me out in diagnosing this problem?
    Thank you so much.

Welcome to the forum. If you set a static ip it should work again next time unless the ip has been reused by another device on most router you can assign a ip to one pc so nothing else can take it. If its a long run to the dhcp server it may time out

How did you set the adapters up?
