How to access Laptop on home network

I can see laptop drives from desktop but get this message. What to do?

Adjust the NTFS file/folder security permissions to add the laptop user. To access files and folders there are two sets of permissions required, sharing permissions and NTFS file system permission. It looks like you have sharing permission set but not NTFS file security permission.

My win 10 pro desktop will.not let me access my win 10 home laptop. I went to properties of each partition in security tab and gave full control to administrators but get the same message as above.

You'll have to add the user account from the desktop specifically to the administrators group on the laptop. Just because your account is an administrator on the desktop does not mean it will be an administrator on the laptop.
