    Hi Greg,

    IP translation tools are available and have been for some time now. Many are web based.
    Many ISP's simply recycle their vast pool of IPv4 addresses to customers to have discontinued or changed services.

    IPv6 is used on many internal backbones while IPv4 is more front facing because their format is short and familiar.

    Make no mistake - at the current pace IPv6 addresses will appear to the consumer faster than you think.
