Network adapter keeps on disabling itself

Whenever I try to connect to the internet, my network adapter will instantly disable itself. It can display the list of available networks just fine, but once I tried to connect to any one of it, the adapter will disable itself. I even tried to connect using USB Tethering with my phone, and the driver responsible for it also disabled itself.

I tried uninstalling and restarting, I also tried to change the power management settings and I also tried updating the driver. But none of it works.

Any help will truly be appreciated!

I've confirmed that it's not a hardware issue by booting into a live Ubuntu USB. It seems that I have no choice but to do a reinstall of Windows (I have no restore point)?

Are you using a 64 bit system and is the driver signed?

this sounds like the work of a rogue malware that manipulates group policy so i suggest you do full scans with several antivirus packages such as MalwareBytes & Rogue Killer & Commodo in addition to whatever package you use , if all fail an in place installation of windows using media creation tools might fix you .

Yes, I'm using 64-bit and the driver is signed by Microsoft.

I've tried an in-place installation with the 1903 build ISO and now I'm in the earliest possible 1903 build. But the problem still persists.
This is incredibly frustrating, because my PC was working completely fine with 1903 just a few days ago.
Can you elaborate on the group policies? I'll try some AV scans.

Thank you so much, that actually fixed it!! God bless you sir. My WiFi is now functional and I'm no longer getting KERNEL MODE HEAP CORRUPTION bsod.
So I'm guessing some of the non-Microsoft services or startup items are the culprit? I guess I need to check one by one.
