Drat! I was hoping it might find something. Sorry for your troubles. I certainly didn't mean to waste your time. I've got 4 Lenovo laptops and the tool works well on all of them. My hope was that it might tell you something useful, or perhaps find a better driver for you. My apologies.

I discovered by experimenting that sleep, hibernate, and restart get the computer online again, but logging out does not. Is that information helpful?

You didn't really waste my time. At least redundant information confirms the reliability of the information.

Have you tried disabling, then re-enabling the network interface? These are right-click options in Device Manager. Might do the trick.
Sorry for your troubles: usually sleep and hibernate cause problems, rather than solving them. Weird.

Disabling and reenabling the adapter was the first thing I tried.

I moved the computer to strengthen the signal, but I need a few more days to see what happens.

The stronger signal didn't fix it, but the download speed seems to have improved.

I found this at the MS forum:

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...d-a463c3ec79f8

The driver from the Softpedia page mentioned in that thread improved things and it made it possible to install the Lenovo driver. The Lenovo driver seems to work better even though it's an earlier version.

Glad you got it sorted. These things can be deucedly difficult to diagnose and fix. Glad you stuck it out, and shared your solution with us.
