Vista can't access Windows 10 share

I work with a company that has 5 computers with NO internet access. They are only connected to each other by a switch (no router).

4 run Vista (I know, not supported, but again, offline). 1 now runs Windows 10.

The addresses are in the 169.254 subnet. This has always worked, until we introduced the Windows 10 system.

I can ping the Windows 10 system, and the Windows 10 system can access resources on the Vista system, but the Vista system cannot access a share on the Windows 10 system. It says that the share is no longer available. The Sharing and Security are set to Everyone-Full Control.

Is there anything in Windows 10 that would block access to a Vista system?

Vista will require the Windows 10 PC to have SMB 1.0/CIFS Server enabled in Windows Features and the automatic removal of SMB1 disabled. By default the deprecated SMB1 is disabled in W10.

THANK YOU! I knew it was going to be something relatively straight-forward. I hope to test this tonight
