My computer's name is not displayed in file explorer Network group.

My computer's name (Office) does not appear in the local Network list.
It does appear on other computer's (XPS-Club) Network list.
Office is primary system in my profile.
XPS-Club is second system in my profile.

If I type \\Office in the Network Address bar, the name and associated shares is displayed in the local list.
However, the information is only shown for the current file explorer session.

Upon reviewing my original post, I realized I really hadn't asked for help. I know there are many threads similar to mine, both on this forum and in many other forums on the internet, but I have yet to find a solution for my particular situation.

So, I am asking the members of this forum for assistance in getting my Office computer to display itself in its own network group.

The standard items to check are:

    2. If you still have issues, then:
    > Go to "Control Panel" > "Programs and Features" > "Turn Windows features on or off"
    > Under "SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support", make sure that "SMB 1.0/CIFS Client" is checked.
    > Restart router, then all systems.

    Worked great. Thanks.

Glad it worked. Networking has been a mess for a couple of years ever since Microsoft broke network browsing. There are so many complaints ever since then of people having issues with networking. Hopefully it will be resolved.

While researching networking problems I find so many posts where people say their problem was solved but they don't give a clue as to what was the solution.

Part of my problem was having one computer out of three exhibiting the issue.
All three computers are from Dell. One is two years old, one is four months old and one is three weeks old.
They all came with W10 Pro installed.
The four month old computer had the problem.

Until applying your solution I had not changed any of the networking settings on any of the machines.
