    My host file is host.bak. I don't know why. Please help

    Excellent, glad you got is sorted.

    Are you imaging your system, if not you should consider. Lots use Macrium, there are other tools.

    Backup and Restore with Macrium Reflect

Host File in Win10? in Software and Apps
After searching the internet, youtube and the forums I've not found the correct method for locating the host file in Win10. I did go through the typical Windows way, but I've not been able to locate the file in and of itself.
