File Explorer Does Not See A Network Computer

Am using Windows 10 version 10 build 18362l.145 on three machines all on my Private Network.

Machines 1 and 2 show each other in File Explorer/Network. But Machine 3 shows only itself there. 1 and 2 show 3 and can access 3 at will.

Each machine has Network discovery turned on as well as file and printer sharing.

I can Ping 1 and 2 from 3 and do some rudimentary things on them from 3's command prompt.

One other thing. 3's File explorer shows all other network things such as my printers just fine. the network seems to be working as expected as far as I can tell.

Please help me get 3's File explorer to see 1 and 2.

    Thank you.

    Hi Bluewind

Please check all these settings mentioned in tutorial. Likely SMB1.0 disabled but check all. Understand risk of enabling SMB1.0.

    Thanks Ken,

It took a while to do those checks but did not change the situation. Like I said, File sharing seems to work whenever I do it from the command prompt or, as I just discovered, use a batch file on the desktop containing a statement like xcoply machine 3 file to machine 1. It is just the fact that 1 and/or 2 don't appear in File Explorer

You checked all three machines for the services and that SMB1.0 was enabled.

Yes, but I will do it again just to make sure later tonight or in the morning.
