There are two wifi drivers that are the same. Download the latest. Also check bios settings.
Thank you for you efforts. I searched all over including th ASUS and Realtek sites. I was under the impression I had the latest. Date : 10/31/2018. Version : 2024.0.4.102. I could not find anything newer than what I have with the correct model number.

It's been a year since I built this machine. Pardon my ignorance, but what should I be checking in the bios? Or do you for a Bios up date?

See the manual link and go to Chapter 3. Then go to 3-11 and look for 3.6.4, that is wifi for in the Bios Advanced settings menu. That date is when Realtek created and there are two versions for that particular driver. You want the April version that is the latest that it shows on asus.com for your motherboard.

Ok. I truly apologize for wasting your time. The antenna was disconnected. Connecting it finds the networks.

That said, I did download the driver dated 2019/04/04 from the Asus site. I ran the install and it's the same as the previous. Version 2024.0.4.102. I think I now have 3 of the same thing. At any rate. Wifi is working, and again, I apologize for my stupidity wasting your time.

    All the best.

No wasting of time. We all have had one of these moments. You can purge the drivers by doing an uninstall of the device and drivers in Device Manager, then going into Device Manager and showing hidden devices to see if there are any ghost devices for those two network adapters. Then when you reboot, do a Disk Cleanup/System and make sure that the "Device Driver Packages" is checked. You can also go into cmd and enter 'SET DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES=1'. All of the steps are listed in How to Easily Remove Old Drivers From Windows
