    Could you give make and model of computer and wifi and other specs?
    Quick check open device manager right click on your wifi (under networking)
    choose properties go to power management tab and un check
    allow computer to turn off this device to save power.

    @nava -

    Have you tried contacting your ISP?
    That would be the best first step, IMO.

    What modem do you use? Com/Xfin allow Third party modems.
    Try going to the modem's setup page, (for instance Arris modem/routers
    you would enter the address 192.168.0.1) and there change the channel for the wifi.
    On most modems its channel 1 , mine is set to 5 because I have neighbors who don't
    no how to change it so channel 1 gets crowded and causes drop outs.
