Last night my new Android phone connected OK with my PC and I was able to send Text messages via WiFi. This morning the apps such as Your Phone and MiDrop are reporting that they are unable to connect, either way. The phone and PC are still linked but not connecting. I have tried the Troubleshooters. Everything seems to be set as it should be.
A further problem has appeared, probably related? I cannot sign in to my MS Windows account. My backup email address and my phone number for verification are not accepted!
Yes, the 2 issues are likely related. Can you get to the same Microsoft account via another system (if you have another system)?

I am making some progress, using my all arms flailing technique..... but have to reset the password 5 times so far as it keeps failing on different devices. Syncing issues perhaps?
