Network card of Giga and shows only 100mbps on network connections

    Hi,
I upgraded my internet last week to 200/5 and the day I upgraded I couldn't reach above 100 Mbps.
I started to check why I couldn't and then I thought maybe it's my Network Card and then I just bought a new card and checked if it shows above 100mbps and still it was stuck under 100Mbps so I returned it to the store and stayed with mine because I checked my card and it's 10/100/1000.

I tried to manually set my card to Giga at Device Manager:

And still it showed me 100 Mbps:

I've already tried to update my card but still, nothing worked, I have windows 10 and CAT7 cable, I hope you will be able to help me guys, you're my last way.

Does your router have 10/100/1000 or as often the case just 10/100 Ethernet ports?

The router supports 10/100/1000 but I've never got above 100 Mbps

Its set to full duplex which can do it as it means its sends and recieves at the same time most routers cant cope with that so drop the speed back down the MTU can also effect it if the pc is different to the router MTU Limit - Test and change your connection's MTU limit - Windows 7 Help Forums

I've bought a new Network switch of Gigabit and it changed my Network Connections speed to 1 Gbps but still not changed my internet test, it still gives under 100 Mbps.

Have you tried turning off your firewall(s) and retesting?
The Graphics above show your Ipv6 connectivity has no network access.
For Norton firewall I had to make both my network card and my modem/router a trusted device.

So did you buy a network switch that attaches to your router? It's possible your router is also not gigabit on the ethernet port. Please list all networking equipment you own (router, switch, cable modem).

Also, it's possible if the cabling is old enough that the cables themselves are CAT5 and not CAT5e and therefore wouldn't support gigabit. This would only be the case for the cable between the router and switch or the router and the cable modem. You can usually find what CAT the cable is on the side of the cable shielding itself.

I'm using CAT7, purchased it last week, I have HOTBOX 1 of HOT (200 Mbps), 2 days ago I was using the CAT7 directly to my pc and it showed me 100 Mbps so I purchased a switch of Gigabit and it fixed it to 1 Gbps.

I couldn't find hardly anything on the HOTBOX 1, but I did find somewhere on a website that it supports "wireless N" and claims that wireless N is the latest standard or something like that, so likely that device is the hiccup as devices that released around that time often didn't support gigabit networking. Your new switch will tell you it has a gigabit link on Windows 10, but the switch itself to the router might not have a gigabit link, making the ACTUAL transmission speed drop back to 100mbps. I would potentially look into a new router, especially one that supports 802.11ac (WiFi 5) at least, as I can almost guarantee it has gigabit wired ports.

Another thing to look for is your modem. If you have a cable modem, make sure it supports gigabit in the first place. If it doesn't, for example if it is not DOCSIS 3.1, you may need to have it upgraded.
