Missing wifi adapter in windows 10

I recently upgraded my pc from windows 7 to windows 10. Everything is fine, apart from that before the upgrade I had 3 internet adapters and now I only have 1.
I have followed some fix suggestions like scanning for hardware changes and updating my existing adapter but nothing seems to work.
The wifi adapter that stayed is: Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6235
How would I get them back?
Thanks to anyone who can help.

Could you just post a quick screenshot of device manager buddy? :)

    updating my existing adapter
What make & model are the 'missing' network adapters?

Go to the network adapter maker's website and download then install the latest Windows 10 driver.

By the way, I have never seen anybody report any benefits of having more than one network adapter. Windows cannot really handle the situation.

In your Device manager screenshot, be sure to expand the sections Network adapters & Other devices [i.e. unknown devices].

I can't find the Intel WiFi drivers because I don't remember exactly what version I need and the automatic installer doesn't detect the adapters as missing.

I would remove every single one of those and restart the unit. The ones that are meant to be there will reinstalll on there own bud.

Far too busy in the WIFI department for windows to work correctly lol

This happened to me with qualcomm adapter

Backup all existing 3rd party drivers to a usb drive (google export drivers)

    Reupgrade

Look in device manager and see if you can see "Unknown Network Controller"

Click to update drivers, and select to search on your pc and point to driver folder on sb drive

It may complain the driver is unsigned. If so, you need to go to recovery menu, advanced options and restart pc and select to install unsigned drivers, and repeat above steps.

Now here's the thing, it may not remember after a reboot. In the end I hunted web for a signed driver.
