OneDrive - how to see with whom I shared a file?

Am an occasional OneDrive users. One in a while I share a file with someone.

OneDrive - View Online - I tag a file, r-click, select 'Share" and enter the email address.

(Much) Later I am not sure whom I shared the file(s) with, I simply forgot.

Probably I am overlooking it: how to track down whom I share a file the file(s) with.
If that feature is not available, is there some kind of automatic trick/workaround to keep track of that?
Alternatively see who accessed the file (in some log file)?
    Probably also not available.

    Thanks.

From what I could find, and I've tried it on my OneDrive (shared a file with myself, different email ), the ability to track is available in OneDrive for Business only. This is the article I found. And it seems to indicate, or at least imply, that OneDrive files shared thru Office (business) are traceable.

    Ah, right.
    Many thanks!

Indeed it looks it is only available for business, regretfully so.
It would be a nice feature to at least have an option or so that send a notification to yourself about a file that has been shared. File: xyz has been shared with xxx on date-time and/or trigger a notification once a shared file has been viewed.

    Bad luck...

Thanks a lot for the quick feedback.

I didn't try, but if you include yourself as an email recipient, maybe to a separate email account, and include a comment with it, you could hold on to those emails to yourself as a log of sorts. If it doesn't allow multi-emails at once, just do it twice, last one to yourself.

Yes, indeed. I didn't think of that .
    Thanks for the tip!

There is a method to find out with whom files have been shared, but one has to check each and every file 1-by-1

when selecting a file and hovering over the envelop on right side, it will show 1 address only.
manage access will show others, when available.

As there is no way to get some kind of listing, files need to be checked on by one, if they are shared and with whom.
So sending a copy to yourself might be the best solution to get a quick overview.

Try it for a while and post back if it's workable.
