    "Incorrect" Windows network credentials

Been trying to connect to another PC on the same Wi-Fi network. Had some issues regarding the PC not appearing in the Network tab in File Explorer, but managed to fix it by navigating to Services and setting both, Function Discovery Provider Host and Function Discovery Resource Publication, to Automatic startup. Although another issue arose: when trying to access a PC, it displays a message box saying the submitted user and/or password is incorrect (https://i.imgur.com/YGKE6SD.png), even though they are not. What can be the problem here? I've completely ran out of ideas.

Welcome to the forum. Are you entering a username and password that is on the PC your connecting to not the one from your PC?

The PC I'm trying to connect to doesn't have a password-protected user. I'm submitting the user/password provided in the Manage Windows Credentials (https://i.imgur.com/yHLsAYn.png, where MEMORIES is my current PC and AIVARAS is the PC I'm trying to connect to).

Edit: moment, messed up a little here. I'll edit the comment in a second.

Edit: the PC I'm trying to connect to had a password-protected user. I first tried entering the username itself but failed, then by providing the network name (MEMORIES/USERNAME) but that failed as well. As a last resort, I tried entering the PCs' I'm connecting to Microsoft account email and the PC users' password. Finally managed to connect.
