Hello Zeki, and welcome to Ten Forums.

This below should be able to help.

    1) Open Registry Editor (regedit).

    2) Navigate to the registry key below.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

    3) Change the CachedLogonsCount string value from the default 10 to the connections limit you want instead.

I've found this below you could try to see if it may help.

    1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
    2. Locate and then click to select the following registry subkey:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Lanmanserver\Parameters
    3. On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
    4. Type MaxMpxCt, and then press ENTER.
    5. Right-click MaxMpxCt, and then click Modify.
    6. In the Value data box, type the desired value, and then click OK.

Note You can set the number of concurrent SMB commands to a value that is between 10 and 255. The default value is 10. In Microsoft Windows Server 2003, you can set the number of concurrent SMB commands to a maximum value of 65,535.

    7. Close Registry Edit

You would want to select Decimal, and then enter the number you want for this value.

Help! I have completed both your instructions to no avail. What do I need to do to resolve this issue?

Hello gem514, and welcome to Ten Forums.

It would be best to create a new thread for your issue including all details to get the best help with it.

Thanks, but it is the same issue as this thread. "no more connections can be made to this remote computer", should I still create a new thread? I've created the MaxMpxCt file and changed the CachedLogonsCount.

Yes, it would be best to create a new thread since each issue may have some differences.
