Folders Available But Red X Beside Them

This isn't new to Windows 10, but I'll bet someone will have a good solution for me. Sometimes network folders will go offline at some point, causing the user's Windows Explorer to mark the mapped folder as offline with a red X beside it. Then it'll come back but nothing drives Windows Explorer to check again. All you have to do is double click on the folder and all is fine. Is there a way to redrive that automatically, with a script or anything else? Is there a setting to recheck at some interval?

Thanks. I went into the registry and Autodisconnect was already set to fffffff. However, in the linked KB article it also talked about setting KeepConn. I didn't have that value to I added it and set it at a really high number. I'm not sure how to test this other than taking down a system for a bit with a mapped drive to see what happens.
