If you can see other computers on the network, and are connected to a wireless router, and the network troubleshooter shows no faults. Try the following.
!. In change network adapter settings, make sure the IPV4 settings are set to set IP address and DNS to automatic. Go to Open Network & Internet Settings. Select Change adapter settings. Select IPV4 TCP/IP and click on Properties to change or correct to proper settings.
    2. Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc.
    3. Edit hosts file to include the IP addresses of your network computers. IP address Computer Name.
    4. I have to save my changes as a test file to another location, such as Desktop.
    5. Copy the Hosts.txt file back to the location of the original hosts file.
    6. Rename the original hosts file to something like Hosts.Old
    7. Now rename the hosts.text file to hosts.
Do this for all PCs on your network that you can't access.
    8. Reboot all computers after making the host file changes.

Provided there were no faults found by using the Network Troublehootern, and you correctly entered the right IP addresses and computer names, you should be able to access your network computers without having to do it by entering the actual IP address in Networks.

I have my sharing properties set to no password required. My shared folders are set to allow access by :"Everyone" with all privileges, such as deleting or changing file content etc.
