Remote Desktop problem - Screen going black

I’m running Win10 1809.379 on my computer. Both computers that I’m using RDP to connect to are also on 1809.379.

The problem starts when I connect to them both or either and then minimize them to the task bar, if it try to reopen them their screen goes black. Prior to opening if I scan my mouse over the icons in task bar their desktops looks OK.

I have tried to create new RDPs for them both, however the problem persists.

Thanks for help – in advance.

    I've had similar problems.
In that case the full screen option got disabled automatically in the remote desktop properties.
For a while, we had to manually enable fulls screen to get it to work properly. After a while, it stuck...
We still have to minimize the window and then maximize it again to get he right resolution in full screen. If we don't, the remote desktop screen is larger than the host screen and 30% of the content is "out of bounds".

minimizing and then maximizing solves the problem, but there's clearly something wrong with the full screen settings in remote desktop, that's for sure.

    Hiatus,

Your post has pointed me in the right direction "Screen Size" I have moved it from "Full Screen" to 1920 x 1080 and now they both appear to be working fine.

    Thanks for your help
