Win 10 systems can't see all other systems on network

I have four Win10 systems connected to my WiFi network, however, all the systems can't see all the others. I have set all to private network, turned on Network discovery, checked the services needed all are running and set to Auto, checked file sharing and permissions all good. Only one system can see all the others.

One system is new and had Win10 already loaded, two were upgraded from Win7 and one from Win8. The one system that can see all in one of the Win7 upgrades.

Searched the web and have tried everything that I could find. Any new ideas?

Similar Problem with me atm.
I thought I had solved this when I removed legacy Workgroup names still on PC's - renamed them both back to old default "Workgroup", changed PC names x 2. Shared folders appeared momentarily but disappeared on refresh.

I have been working on this for over 2 days after one of two PCs died and I had to re-do full Win 10 install.
Just trying to access my music from one PC to another like have done for 2 years.

The frustrating thing is I can still easily listen to music from this PC on my Linux laptop, and even my Apple iPhone using file explorer app.... but Windows can't still see it's brothers folder still. Have done all above too, latest Win 10 installs, Private network, Discovery on, Service Functions running. The client PC CAN see these as Media files, just not as shared network folders which is what I need.

Under Windows Features:
I've read elsewhere mixed reports on whether or not to switch off some or all of SBS 1 as it is now legacy?
I currently have them all checked positive on both PCs.....
SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support - Checked
- SMB 1.0/CIFS Automatic removal - Checked
- SMB 1.0/CIFS Client - Checked
- SMB 1.0/CIFS Server - Checked

Could this be the issue?

And whats really frustrating is getting a system to show and then 10 minutes later it disappears.

Is there any alternative to Win10 networking because this sucks?

Here is some interesting info, browse to the other computers using Windows key+R and typing \\computer name.

This a real pain to me, also. I have used Directory Opus (Dopus) for years & as long as homegroup was enabled I could see all computers on the network. Now with win 10 nothing on the network is visible. All drives are shared...

I am certain that I have messed it up all by myself!

For instance I open Dopus & hit network no computers show.

Now, perhaps this next will give a guru a hint...if i run ipscan (Angry IP Scanner) it sees the ip address of the network computer & if I right click that & choose Open/Windows Shares...up pops Dopus with all the network drives available!

Any ideas please?

I've got a variant on your problems, but probably the same. LAN computers sometimes seeing one another sometimes not. For the time being I have solved it for single shares by typing \\computername\share in windows explorer and making a shortcut at my desktop. Change the name of the short cut in computer name-share and you have your bypass. You can also change the icon by a picture using Irfan View (freeware).
One of my desktop computers can't even see itself on the local network. The shortcut \\computername then does not work either it echoes: no access to: computername, consult windows help and support for more information about permissions.
However when I type \\computername\share I get access to the share.
This is a real flaw in windows 10!
How do I get this windows 10 computer to recognize itself on the local network?
