"Share" Button missing in File Explorer for Nearby Sharing

I enabled the Nearby Sharing option from the action centre, but cannot find any Share button in the Share tab of an explorer!
How can I use Nearby Sharing?

Hello Arnav, and welcome to Ten Forums.

Double check using the tutorials below to see if they may be able to help for now.

    Tried both these links!
Even tried this (How to remove Share item from right-click context menu in Windows 10), but the regkey is already present.
Also, I tried removing it from the blocked keys' registry!

    Please help!

I just noticed you have Windows 10 build 14393 in your specs as being installed.

Nearby Share is only available starting at build 17035, and changed to Nearby Sharing in build 17134.1.

You'll need to update Windows 10 to the latest version via Windows Update first.

Check for and Install Windows Update in Windows 10

    Thanks for the help!

    Adding this "{e2bf9676-5f8f-435c-97eb-11607a5bedf7}" to

    "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shell Extensions\Approved"

    did the trick!

    Great news.

Interesting that I don't have that registry entry though.
