Always on VPN?

Hello,

I have setup a VPN server.

Is it possible to have a always on VPN connection?

Like, if I connect my laptop to the internet, it will instantly connect to the VPN and will not disconnect?
Even if I disconnect, it should reconnect again.

Is that possible?

To be clear your connecting to the net via a VPN or are you running a VPN server on the laptop? It would depend on how the VPN starts up on boot or other

I have setup a PPTP VPN on a DigitalOcean VPS.

I can click on the network icon in the taskbar tray and connect to my VPN.

But I want this to be automatic.
So that whenever the laptop or PC gets connected to the internet, it should connect to the VPN.
