    PC not showing in Network

I have a desktop and laptop that were networked together. Due to other issues I ran the tenforums repair tool. Now neither PC shows in the other PC network folder. I tried the first option on your site and nothing changed. I don't want to keep trying things and end up messing up my system again. Looking for some info to help me get my PCs reconnected.

What option did you try? There are several thousand tutorials available here, which one did you follow. Post a link to it please so we know what you did, then we may be able to help you.\

Edit: I'm not aware of a tenforums repair tool, which is why I'm asking.

So all of my permissions are set where they should be. I tried Option One on this page: Share Files and Folders Over a Network in Windows 10

I ran it on both and neither found the other pc

I just checked a second laptop that I have not used in a few days and that laptop name appears in the desktop and laptop network file. However the desktop and laptop names do not appear on the 2nd laptop.
