Win10 can't connect to Win7 shares - here we go again
I have several Win10-64 computers running 1804 or 1809 that cannot connect to a Win7-32 computer, but the Win7 computer can connect and access the Win10 computers just fine. The error I get when I try is "Cannot access \\Computer1" (0x80070035). We are talking here about WiFi. I know suggestions about this exist all over the place, but over 3 days I have tried every one I can find with no luck. What I need is a fresh approach. Any ideas?
Notes:
1. Network sharing for private networks are all set to allow sharing and not require passwords.
2. Network sharing for public networks are all set to disallow sharing and require passwords.
3. The network and all computers don't require logon or passwords.
4. The reqistrys are all set to allow blank passwords.
4. All computers are on the same workgroup.
5. Homegroup is not being used.
6. I'm using all administrator accounts.
7. The drives I'm trying to access on the Win7 computer are all set to allow sharing and
their permissions are all set to "Everyone" and "Full Access"
8. The adapters all have "Enable LMHOSTS lookup" unchecked and "Enable NetBios over
TCP/IP" enabled.
