    Local network problem

    Three PC's
    A: Windows 10x64 LTSB 1607 Fixed IP 192.168.0.10
    B: Windows 10x64 LTSB 1607 Fixed IP 192.168.0.20
    C: Windows 10x64 LTSC 1809 Fixed IP 192.168.0.30

A and B can connect to all parts of network

C can not connect to either A or B.

    C can ping 192.168.0.10 but not 192.168.0.20 !?

On C I can attach another HDD with Windows 10x64 LTSB 1607 Fixed IP 192.168.0.30
    and I have full connectivity!

Have tried every possible settings to no avail so looking for help.

How did you set the static IP? In the Gateway/Router or on the machines or both the Gateway/Router and machines? Make sure all workgroups are named the same as "workgroup", also make sure that if you have firewall enabled, that you allow local network, but keep the devices stealthed. Run nslookup and ipconfig /all from cmd.exe. The Microsoft Message Analyzer is a good tool to also use. Microsoft Message Analyzer Operating Guide - Message Analyzer | Microsoft Docs

How did you set the static IP?
    Change Adapter settings/Properties/IPV4

Make sure all workgroups are named the same as "workgroup"
All WORKGROUPS. Partitions D and E are shared through the network. Same setup on all three PC's

also make sure that if you have firewall enabled
    When firewall disabled, same problem

    Enclose ipconfig and nslookup

    ip.txt

Does your Gateway/Router show that those IP's are assigned as Static? The word "workgroup" has to be the same on all computers for the workgroup that they are in. Your text file shows nothing and you need to use the output from the tools I posted. It is not going to do us any good to only see one piece of information out of this puzzle.

See the link I posted, use that tool and the others on all computers to make sure everything is correct. Also make sure that DirectSMB is enabled, all computers are set for their network adapter set to private in the Network settings in Settings, Smbv1 does not need to be enabled, but will not matter while you go through troubleshooting.

The easiest is to just reset the Network adapters in settings and reboot your Modem/Gateway/Router and let the network try to start fresh. This comes down to which computer decides to be Master Browser for SaMBa. If one forgets who is in charge at the time and if another tries to become Master Browser at the same time, you run into these hicups.

    bro67 Thanks for your input.

I have now downladed Message Analyzer and will run it asap.

In the meantime, what is pusseling is that when I attach a HDD with the same version of LTSB as on PC A and B on PC C I have full
network connectivety including other PC's on the network running OSX. Only when I run LTSC on the same hardware I run into these problems.
The settings are exactly the same as far as I can see.

    Hi there

    @fyrekrig

enable SMB1 on the 1809 computer ( I think that's the "C" machine) and also allow remote connections to this computer. I assume you've got shared ok on the (c) machine defined OK. To enable SMB1 it's in add windows features in control panel (still there) or similar settings in the new setup menus.

    Re-boot

    Cheers

Thanks everyone. Do not have time to chase this one. Going back to LTSB, where everythings works as expected.. Don't see any benefits with LTSC. Quite the opposite actually.
