Stop using full duplex does the problem go away? Full duplex sends and receives at the same time and on big files most home routers CPU or PC CPU can crash is there any options on the network card for it to use its CPU?

This might be helpful. While it sudden use 100 Mbps, it lasted way longer but the problem occur not often. Switched port, still 100. I changed cable and it go back to 1 Gbps again. I can't just use 100 Mbps half duplex because then I can't use software that require internet while it uploading or downloading big files

I restored the firmware of Ethernet successfully. not sure if it helps Intel I219-V refuses to establish a connection! always disconnected ! - [Solved] - Networking

I don't know if there is any options to use its CPU. Where do I check them?

No one is going to hack your connection if they know the ISP. In order to properly diagnose this, the ISP needs to be known, so that if those who also have had the same problems with the same ISP may chime in or a search can be done online to see if this is a common problem with that ISP.

Without the ISP info, we can just assume that it is a ISP device problem that is causing the disconnect, not your computer.

There will be under the adapter properties at the top configure then advanced properties there are loads of settings which matbeable to change cpu setting. Trying to run gig speeds full duplex then trying to surf as well is never going to end well on a isp home router even at Barclays bank I worked for pro routers couldnt cope with that

I followed this article to confugure adapter but still random disconnects Optimizing Ethernet Adapter Settings for Maximum Performance FlexRadio Systems

I totally forgot that my motherboard have 2 ethernet adapters, One is Intel(R) Ethernet Connection I217-V and other one is Killer E2200 Gigabit Ethernet Controller and I had it disabled on BIOS since i never using it. Went to BIOS and enable it back, and testing Killer adapter. It still have this excat problem.

I ran network troubleshooting and it reported that it fixed standardgateway. It lasted longer about 1 hour for a while but the problem comes back again... on both adapter. Then I noticed something... NetBalancer crashed itself without error at the excat time the disconnect occur. Now I remember it did crashed sometimes yesterday and in the past. I uninstalled it, rebooted it and the problem seems gone forever (hopefully). I finished the backup successfully

NetBalancer is a program that you can limit bandwidth on any process. It was intergated into adapter drivers and it have lot of networking tweaking features which might causing issues i think.
I'm using DU meter now, hope it works fine and hope nothing would affect ethernet too much

I think it's safe to Mark As Solved now.
