How to set up a static IP on comcast home internet?

I'm networking 3 pcs together for training purposes, How would I go about this without having to pay for a business line from comcast? I'm don't own a website, this is strictly for windows, linux learning.

All my IP's are different and all pcs are hooked up over wifi.

    Hi sah0724

Not exactly sure I understand what you are trying to do?

Your IP should always be different but they should be in the same series like 192.168.1.100 and 192.168.1.103 and 192.168.1.xxx

If your machines have Static IP's then I would make them dynamic. Then this the windows sharing tutorial.

It's not clear what you have and what you want to do. If your using a router all your PCs will get an IP from the router normally starting 192.168 is it that range you wish to set with static ips?

You cannot set static IP's for each computer outbound on regular Internet Service.

My ISP does allow static IP addresses but I have to pay for them, way too much out of my budget so I just stay with DHCP.

Why would you wanr 4 ips you can run all services from 1 ip like webserver, ftp etc as they all use different ports so you can port foward

Huh? I have Comcast, with an ARRIS cable modem and a TP-Link wireless router.

I have both laptops and desktops on my home LAN. The desktops have static IPs, in the 192.168 range. The laptops go all over the place, so they have dynamic IPs, just like my phones and tablets.

    Sounds right.

I only use static ip for speakers and printers.
