Linksys Router: How to DISABLE THE GUI so I can manually setup?

Trying to custom configure a Linksys EA6100 and I cannot find a way to defeat the blasted GUI "smart" Setup to get to the real menus. There is no "local settings" link on the GUI that some refer to. Is there a magic key sequence or something I need to use? No matter what I do, I get routed back to the dumb-dumb page
pls help before I take a hammer to it. It ain't THAT good of a router to begin with....

    I got it done.
part of the mystery is it's not really Linksys - its Belkin rebranded as Linksys. The whole approach is different. The better Linksys units have an obvious way-in, that does not require a connection and one can go straight to the manual setup controls. Not so with this one. MUST have a cable connection or there is no way to escape the dummy wizard. Basically forced to run through setup wizard; after that it will not interfere again.

no wonder it only had 3 star ratings. my old TP Link 841 of the same gen was/is lightyears better
