WiFi 5GHz Has Disappeared on Both Computers

    I cannot argue with Dell, except that both computers used to use 5GHz; why, how, when, and anything else is totally beyond me. Given the Dell information, I shall surrender and mark this thread as solved.

    Just before seeing the link to your message, I did a quick look at the .pdf for my computer, found the WiFi information, and looked up that specification, which is, indeed, limited to 2.4GHz. That tells me that my belief that 5GHz was there when the BlueTooth/WiFi card was replaced that 5GHz was available. As I stated somewhere in this thread, when that card was installed, it was determined by Dell that the card it replaced (itself a replacement for the first card) was not the proper card; thus, the second card had to have been 5GHz-capable.

    That still leaves the mystery as to why my wife's computer has an entry in WiFi for 5Ghz, even though that speed is
