    Wifi drops seconds after startup

Everytime I boot my computer, the wifi will automatically connect to my home network, but a few seconds after this, the connection mysteriously drops.

I have tried reinstalling the adapter's drivers, moving it from one slot to the other. Nothing has fixed this for me. It takes dropping my connection and reestablishing it to solve the problem. Anyone got any help for this?

Hi Prejudice182. Welcome to the TenForums @Prejudice182

Could you tell us what make / model adapter you have?

When did you acquire this adapter?

Any chance you are also connected with a wire, maybe to another network?

What band are you using for the connection, 2.4GHz or 5.0

I see you are on 1809. Did this issue start with the installation of 1809?

The best way to troubleshoot is to try a different Wifi adapter and also reset the Internet Gateway. Changing the wifi channel also helps.

Check to see the correct driver was installed, from Belkin and not an MS generic.

Check for newer driver at Belkin and I might also try an older driver.

Did MS update your system through Windows Update or did you update it manually? Only asking as MS has recommended people wait for stability reasons.

Checking for a new driver lead to me a newer version. I swear that wasn't there a few days prior. No issues since installing it. Thanks for all the help.
