    Installing Unverified Certificate

    Hello

my new pay VPN service asked me to install a certificate on my pc as well as my iphone if I wanted to use the service. My iphone tells me its not verified and I do not recall that being the case when installing on my pc.

I have been reading and it seems to be a reasonable request. The VPN provider is also well reviewed and endorsed by well known entities. I am happy with the speed and ease of setup but I have never had to do this with past VPN providers and I just want to feel confident everything is on the up-and-up and real kosher like. Thanks!

Who are you using for VPN? Yes, Apple will not let you install unverified cert's on their devices for security reasons. Just because they are reviewed and endorsed, does not mean that they are the best. I use SmartDNSProxy VPN service and have never had any issues with it. It uses OpenVPN protocols.
