    cant connect to my hotspot

So as title says. I got 3 desktops with win 10. All of them dont show connection to my hotspot. But it does show all of rest available connections. I did restart to my laptop (wife host) before it happened. Maybe it could be an issue ? Before i was using for weeks everything was fine... For phone it shows hotspot connection, but not for desktops. Any thoughts , thanks.

To be sure I understand the situation:

Your laptop is the wifi host, or hotspot, to which your desktops usually connect?
Your phone connects with the wifi hotspot, but your desktops do not?

    Is my understanding correct?

My guess is that the cellular provider has restricted wireless tethering. Cellular phones are limited in how many connections they can handle at a given time. Also a very expensive way of data sharing.

my phone connects to the wife hotspot. win 10 desktops not. just checked that windows 7 desktop connects with my hotspot. To be clear. I turn hotspot with my laptop. my phone shows connection and it connects , windows 7 desktop shows connection and it connects, but windows 10 desktops does not show my laptop's hotspot connection at all. And it happened after i did windows update on my laptop...

Let's back this up. Who are you using for Internet (ie ISP or Cell provider), if you are using a desktop or laptop to allow sharing of the Internet, it can be that computer that is the problem. Without more information on the computer you are sharing Internet with and who your provider, along with what kind of device you are using to allow the computer that is being the hotspot, we are going to run into circles on this.

comcast is my provider. I use hotspot on my acer predator hellios 300 laptop. As i mentioned before , it was okey but after my windows update on laptop, the hotspot disappeared for win 10 dekstops only, but not for my phone or windows 7 desktop what is very weird....

Why are you using a laptop in place of a wifi Gateway? You are going to have issues sharing off of a laptop. If Comcast is your ISP, then you should be going the easy route, not hard.

I'm a tenant. They allow only one connection lol. But i got some business that i need desktops in connection with internet, so i use my laptop as a hotspot. Everything was fine , but laptop update ruined everything, now i dont know what to do.. should i install windows 7 on all of them, because 7 windows catch a hotspot connection.

Sounds like who you are renting from has restricted you from using multiple connections then. Nothing you can do unless you get your own Internet service. Their rules are there to stop people from causing others to not be able to use the limited services.

i dont think so. If i can use hotspot on windows 7 dekstop but not on win 10 dekstop. No sense, i think that something happened after i did update on laptop but i dont know what and how it changed , its very weird ...
