(WiFi) Device does not exist
Hi. Recently, I've been having a problem while connecting to a WiFi network. Sometimes, after pressing connect, the network button in the taskbar would suddenly have a red X-mark on it and the options for turning off/on WiFi and mobile hotspot would disappear, along with a list of networks I can connect to. If I check Device Manager for the driver status, it would say that there are problems with the driver and that the device does not exist.
I was able to fix this by uninstalling the WLAN driver and restarting but the problem keeps coming back. Sometimes after a few minutes, a few hours or even after a few days. I am not sure what is wrong so maybe someone else encountered the same problem as mine and if there is a permanent fix, it would be really appreciated.
I have a Windows 10 Home ver. 1803 with KB4023057 update as the latest installed.
