    How Do I Share a OneDrive Link to a File w/ Anyone?


    I got OneDrive. How do I share a OneDrive link to a file from my PC to anyone? I want to make sure that the person only views that file and no other file. How do i do this?

    Easy. Right click the file in your OneDrive folder, click Share a Link. The link is copied to your clipboard. The you can paste that link anywhere yo anyone. Like this:

    Easy. Go to your online Onedrive copy. R-click/Share. This box opens -

    How Do I Share a OneDrive Link to a File w/ Anyone?-screenshot_1.jpg
    you can choose to allow editing, view only, etc. A link is generated and you can copy-paste or use one of the options. If you want, you can have separate View only and Allow editing for same file.

    Can also r-click in File explorer but I've never used that to know if the default is View Only or Allow editing, good Luck.
