    computer ok but The Device Or Resource (DNS Server) Is Not Responding


    hello

    i have my wifi + internet connected working fine but when i try browsing i can't load anything.

    the net adapter win 10 troubleshoot report

    "Your Computer Appears To Be Correctly Configured, But The Device Or Resource (DNS Server) Is Not Responding"


    I set my DNS on ipv4 with OpenDNS and/or google and all working for a while ....

    At the moment i wake up the pc from suspend and i impact on the same issue.


    Anybody can point me to troubleshoot better the issue and fix it ?

    Hi,
    1. Try rt clicking the network icon, troubleshoot.
    2. Try DNSJumper (free) - this will identify DNS's you can access and allow you to switch to one.

    thanks a lot for your input i'm very frustated about this issue.

    i did the troubleshoot as you can told me and i found that the my
    "windows firewall control software block windows update, can this rules blolck in some way also the dns server ?!
    for now i opened the rule for windows firewall and i check and report here :)

    Do not "Open" the firewall, just disable it if it is causing problems. Most likely a rule got set that should not have. You can always ping the OpenDNS servers, along with going into the network device and setting the Network adapter to just use your ISP's DNS servers to see if that still causes the same problem or not.
