    don't quite understand what you're saying there but I'll post the output for you.
    you'll see he's got the same IP today as I told you he had yesterday : x.x.x.200
    and you'll see the gateway is my gateway: 192.168.0.1

    and I'll post the output from that gateway, too, so's you can see what I'm talking about: x.x.x.200 is not listed there.

    It has a fixed ip and doesnt get an ip from the router it pure chance its the same range as your network which is why it works change it to obatain ip and it will show up

    I'll give this a go when I get some time.. hopefully later today... but I have reservations... I frequently put fixed IP wifi cameras onto my network and when they're there they show up on the router list I believe...

    Set a Static IP on the camera itself. That way you stay out of the range. Most Gateways these days use a Sticky IP and will not chose a IP that has already been reserved by a device that has been leased, until you do a reset on the device to flush the IP Tables.
