    After 1809 install

After 1809 install-network2.jpgI did a clean install of 1809 and did all of the CU's and updates. Now in the network folder, it will show both of my wife's computers, but not mine. I already set up both of the function services and the computer browser service and already installed the SMB1 client and server and did the edit to disable the SMB1. Everything was good on 1803. Just started after 1809. If I shut down both function services and start them back up, then it will show my computer, but will go back after shut down of computer.

After 1809 install-network3.jpgAfter doing some digging, I've found that the function discovery resource publication is causing the problem. I've also noticed that now it says triggered start where as 1803 doesn't show that. Now if I stop and restart the service, I can see all 3 computers. As you can see in the pic, the computer browser is set to man triggered start, Function Discovery Provider Host is set to auto delayed start and function discovery resource publication is set to auto delayed triggered start. Either of the auto's will only start in triggered mode. Is this something new for 1809? Is there any known issues with this?

I had some issues also, what I did was just as you said, I turn off Function Discovery Provider Host and function Discovery Resources Publication and restarted them. they are set to Autostart. after the cycling off and back on I haven't had any further issues on my 4 unit network 3 windows 10 Pro 1809 .134 and one Windows 8.1 Pro.
After 1809 install-fuction-discovery.jpg I haven't had any further issues for the last few days anyway. After 1809 install-network.jpg
