Seems some system folders are showing the 'Shared' icon in the lower-left of the window.
Does anyone know how to disable file and folder sharing across the OS?
(P.S. Think I've asked this before but nobody provided a solution that yielded any results).

Open a cmd prompt then type
net share
how many shares do you have?
In Windows 10, using the fsmgmt.msc snap-in, you can close the shared access to drives and individual folders.
To open the fsmgmt.msc snap-in in Windows 10, press the key combination Win + R, type fsmgmt.msc, click OK.
In the Shared Folders window, in the left menu, select Shared Resources, and on the right, select the shared folder you want to close sharing, right-click on it, and click the Stop Sharing button in the context menu. When you close the shared access to the folder, it will disappear from the list of shared resources.

This would appear to only be of use in Pro. In Home the only option in that context menu is Open.
It would appear that, like gpedit.msc, fsmgmt.msc is only intended for use in Pro. Unlike gpedit, it has been included in Home, but it's functions seem very limited. It certainly can't be used to stop sharing. You don't even have the Properties option in the context menu.
There's a lot more available in Pro.
